During these days, Aliments du Québec au menu invited all Quebec institutions to organize events in their community to promote the importance of discovering, preparing and sampling Quebec products!
In total, more than a hundred institutions joined the movement and nearly 19,000 people participated in the 3rd edition of the event. Various actions have been put in place to highlight local foods: harvest menu, thematic activity, cooking class, meeting with a farmer, tasting of little-known products and more! Institutions Eat Local! event is a project from Aliments du Québec au menu – Institution program (developed by Aliments du Québec and Équiterre, with the support of the MAPAQ – Provincial Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) in partnership with Défi 100% local.
